Job Description

  • Assist the sommelier with wine service and preparation.
  • Set up and maintain the wine cellar and wine stations.
  • Prepare and polish wine glasses and service equipment.
  • Help with opening and serving wine correctly.
  • Assist guests with basic wine recommendations when appropriate.
  • Learn about wine regions, grape varieties, vintages, and food pairing.
  • Check wine stock, labels, quantities, and storage conditions.
  • Help with wine inventory and replenishment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the wine area.
  • Support the restaurant team during busy service periods.
