JOB PURPOSE

To maintain a clean, hygienic, safe, and presentable working environment by carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties across office premises, toilets, common areas, kitchen, and other designated areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and maintain office areas, including floors, desks, windows, doors, and other surfaces as required.
• Sweep, mop dust floors and surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, washbasins, mirrors, floors, and other sanitary facilities.
• Replenish toilet and hygiene supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
• Clean and maintain common areas, corridors, entrances, stairways, and other designated areas.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen, including sinks, countertops, tables, cupboards, and appliances as required.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in designated areas in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Ensure that cleaning materials and equipment are properly used, stored, and maintained.
• Report any damaged equipment, maintenance issues, leaks, hazards, or other abnormalities observed during cleaning activities.
• Ensure that cleaning products and chemicals are handled safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Maintain adequate cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the premises during working hours.
• Carry out any other cleaning or housekeeping duties reasonably assigned by Management
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning products or carrying out tasks requiring protection.
• Follow proper procedures for the handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste.
• Ensure that wet floors and other potential hazards are appropriately identified and reported to prevent accidents.
