Job Description
DistriPC Ltd
(Elytis) – a member of Leal Group - is
currently looking for a Retail Merchandiser.
The Retail Merchandiser will be mainly responsible for ensuring that our retail hardware products are optimally displayed, stocked, and presented across retail partner stores to maximize visibility, sell-through, and brand impact.
The role focuses
on translating merchandising strategies into effective in-store execution,
managing planograms, product placement, promotional displays, and stock availability,
to drive sales and strengthen the company's brand presence at the point of
sale.
Main Duties:
Visual
Merchandising & Display: Set up, maintain, and refresh product
displays, planograms, and shelving in line with brand guidelines
to maximize product visibility and appeal.

Stock Management & Availability: Monitor stock levels at retail partner
stores, identify replenishment needs, and coordinate with the sales
and logistics teams to prevent out-of-stock situations.
•
Promotional Execution: Implement in-store promotional campaigns, POP/POS
materials, and seasonal displays, ensuring full promotional compliance
and timely rollout.
•
Store Visits & Coverage: Conduct regular visits to assigned retail outlets
to audit product presentation, pricing accuracy, and shelf share versus
competitors.

Retail Relationship Support: Build and maintain productive working relationships
with store staff and managers to secure prime shelf space and
cooperation on displays.
•
Market Intelligence: Collect and report on competitor activity, pricing, shelf
positioning, and consumer trends to inform merchandising and commercial
decisions.
•
Reporting: Provide systematic reporting (with photos/data) on store conditions,
display compliance, stock levels, and campaign performance.
•
General Duties: Perform any other related duties as requested by the Head
of Department to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Qualifications,
Experience and Skills Required:
Education: Higher School
Certificate (HSC) as a minimum. A Diploma or Certificate in
Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or a related field would be
an advantage for a merchandising role.
•
Relevant Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a
retail merchandising, retail sales, or in-store field role —
preferably within consumer electronics,
hardware, or FMCG distribution.
•
Merchandising Knowledge: Practical understanding of visual merchandising,
planogram execution, and point-of-sale (POP/POS) display principles.
•
Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
(particularly Excel for stock and display reporting).
Sector
Experience: Prior
experience merchandising for a recognized electronics or
hardware brand or working directly with major retail chains.
•
Language Skills: Fluency in English and French; Creole an asset for
engaging with in-store staff.
