Job Description

  • Our client is seeking to recruit a Tyre Sales and Delivery Representative who will report to the Managing Director.  The Tyre Sales and Delivery Representative will be responsible for promoting, selling, and delivering the company's range of tyres to customers across various sectors, including passenger vehicles, 4x4s, construction equipment, trucks, and agricultural machinery. The incumbent will develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, provide excellent customer service, and ensure timely product deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
  • Promote and sell the company's tyre portfolio to existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable tyre solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on customer enquiries.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
 
Delivery & Logistics:
  • Deliver tyres safely and efficiently to customers as required.
  • Load and unload products while ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Verify delivery orders and obtain customer acknowledgements upon delivery.
Profile:

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate, Diploma, or vocational qualification in Sales, Marketing, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in tyre sales, automotive products, spare parts, vehicle accessories, or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, merchandising, or delivery operations.
  • Valid private car driving licence (mandatory).
  • A valid goods vehicle driving licence would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of passenger, 4x4, truck, construction, and agricultural tyres would be an asset.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling and delivering tyres when required.
