Job Description

We
are looking for an Accounts Officer – Trade Payables to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices
and payments accurately and on time, managing procurement-related activities,
maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the Finance team in ensuring
compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key
Responsibilities
- Process supplier
invoices, payments, and reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support
procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders, obtaining
quotations, and maintaining supplier records.
- Liaise with
suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment and
procurement-related queries.
- Assist with weekly
payment schedules, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate
accounting records, filing systems, and petty cash.
- Support
administrative, compliance, and insurance-related activities.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Higher School
Certificate (HSC), preferably progressing towards an ACCA qualification or
equivalent.
- Minimum of 2
years' practical experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Knowledge of
accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in
accounting software such as Navision and NetSuite.
- Strong
organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work
under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication
skills and a collaborative approach to work.
