We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Store Helper to support our warehouse operations based at La Tour Koenig, Pointe aux Sables.

Job Purpose

The Store Helper is responsible for assisting in the efficient receipt, storage, handling, picking, packing, and dispatch of products while ensuring warehouse operations are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries.
• Check incoming goods against delivery notes and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Assist with the proper storage and organisation of stock within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and store orders accurately.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Assist in replenishing stock for retail outlets as required.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to avoid damage.

Inventory Support

• Assist with stock counts and periodic inventory exercises.
• Ensure products are stored according to warehouse procedures.
• Report damaged, expired, or missing stock promptly.
• Maintain accurate stock labelling and warehouse organisation.

Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure walkways and storage areas remain safe and accessible.
• Properly dispose of packaging materials and waste.

Team Support

• Assist warehouse colleagues during peak operational periods.
• Support delivery preparations and dispatch activities.
• Carry out any other warehouse-related duties assigned by Management.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• School Certificate (SC) or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
• Driving Permit would be a definite advantage

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or retail environment will be an advantage.
• Experience handling stock or inventory is desirable but not essential.
