Job Description

Overview of the Role 🔍
Lead the development and execution of the local corporate sales strategy to drive revenue growth, strengthen key client relationships, and increase market share. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maximising top-line performance for Voilà Hotel Bagatelle, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve the hotel's commercial objectives.                              

Key Responsibilities 📋
Business Development & Client Relationship Management
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, key partners, government bodies, DMCs, airport station managers, and other strategic stakeholders.                  
•    Identify new business opportunities and grow the local corporate portfolio in line with annual sales targets.                  
•    Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, follow-ups, site inspections, and presentations to strengthen partnerships and maximise customer satisfaction.                  
Negotiate and finalise client contracts in line with the hotel's commercial objectives while ensuring effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.  

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
•    Develop and implement sales strategies across all market segments, including corporate, government, banking, sports, DMCs, residential conferences, and local guests.                  
•    Execute the commercial strategy to maximise occupancy, average room rate, market share, and overall revenue performance.                  
•    Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimise pricing strategies and occupancy levels through market and competitor analysis.                  
Prepare competitive pricing proposals that optimise profitability while meeting client expectations.  

Meetings, Events & Conference Sales
•    Promote and develop conference, meetings, and event business by collaborating with the Events team to deliver successful functions.                  
•    Develop tailored meeting and event packages to meet client requirements and enhance revenue opportunities.                                                  

Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration   
•    Lead, coach, and develop the Sales team by setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.                  
•    Foster collaboration with the Marketing, Operations, Revenue Management, and other departments to achieve commercial objectives and deliver exceptional guest experiences.  

Reporting, Administration & Performance Management   
•    Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, KPI dashboards, management reports, board pack contributions, and monthly segment reports.                  
•    Maintain accurate records of pricing, contracts, correspondence, sales activities, and client information.                  
•    Analyse sales performance, market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and recommend corrective actions.                  
•    Provide regular performance updates and commercial insights to senior management.  

Sustainability & Compliance
•    Ensure compliance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.                   
•    Maintain organised documentation and uphold professional standards in all sales and administrative activities.      

Ideal Candidate Profile 🎯
•    Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is an advantage.
•    Excellent command of English and French; proficiency in an additional language would be an asset."                  
•    Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry, with exposure to corporate account management.
•    Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and contract negotiation.
•    Strong understanding of pricing strategies, revenue management, and market trends.
