Job Purpose

To prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests while delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high hospitality standards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hotel policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, personalized service.
• Take beverage orders accurately and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, promotions, and hotel services.
• Conduct daily stock replenishment and assist with stock-taking activities.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Handle guest complaints courteously and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow hotel hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Assist with bar opening and closing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with restaurant, kitchen, and banqueting teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Certificate in Food & Beverage Service or Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or resort environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Experience using POS systems is an advantage.
