Job Description
- What Your Days Would Look Like
No two days are exactly the same, but here's an overview of what you will be doing:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and continuously improve learning and development programmes to address business priorities and operational needs.
- Deliver engaging, interactive and impactful training sessions, facilitating both individual and group learning interventions for employees at all levels.
- Conduct presentations, workshops and learning events using various training methods and platforms.
- Develop, source and maintain training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), guides and learning materials.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, assessments, certifications and employee development progress.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback, surveys and performance monitoring, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Ensure all training programmes are appropriate for the participants' roles, competencies and skill levels.
- Plan, coordinate and maintain the annual and monthly training calendar in line with operational requirements.
- Coordinate and ensure the timely submission and administration of all MQA, HRDC and other statutory training requirements and documentation.
- Coordinate and support departmental trainers by, organizing train the trainer, follow up and reporting of training KPIs
- Support talent development initiatives, career progression and succession planning by working closely with department heads and management to build internal capability.
- Promote and uphold the organisation's culture, values and service philosophy through all learning and development initiatives.
- Prepare periodic training reports, analyse learning metrics and provide recommendations to improve employee performance and organisational capability.
- Stay updated on hospitality industry trends, learning methodologies and statutory training requirements to ensure training programmes remain relevant and effective.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
