Job Description
Our client, a well-established
player in the pharmaceutical and distribution industry is seeking to recruit a
dynamic, forward-thinking IT Manager to lead the technology
infrastructure and drive the digital transformation journey. As the leading
importer and distributor of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and
cosmetics, our client’s operations rely heavily on seamless data flow, security
and efficiency.
Operating from our client’s centralized location, he/she will oversee
all IT systems. A core focus of this role will be
spearheading the digitalisation of our client's store, warehousing, and invoicing
operations. He/She will work in close, daily collaboration with the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) team to ensure the supply chain and technical
infrastructure are perfectly aligned.
1. Digital Transformation & Project Management
·
Lead
the strategy and execution for digitalising store operations, inventory
tracking, and billing/invoicing workflows.
·
Partner
closely with the WMS Team to integrate the Warehouse Management System smoothly
with the core ERP and invoicing software.
·
Evaluate
existing manual or legacy processes and implement modern, scalable tech
solutions to boost operational efficiency.
2. IT
Infrastructure & Operations Management
· Oversee, maintain, and optimize the company’s entire IT ecosystem (servers, networks, hardware, and software applications) across the administration and warehouse facilities.

Ensure
24/7 uptime and high performance of business-critical systems to minimize
disruptions in distribution and sales.

Manage
relationships with external IT vendors, software providers, and hardware
suppliers.
3. Cyber
Security, Compliance & Data Integrity
·
Establish
robust security protocols to protect sensitive corporate, financial, and
pharmaceutical distribution data.
·
Implement
and test disaster recovery and regular data backup procedures.
·
Ensure
IT operations comply with local regulations regarding data protection and
industry-specific pharmaceutical storage/tracking standards.
4. User Support
& Team Collaboration
·
Provide
technical leadership, training, and support to our 151 employees to ensure
smooth adoption of new digital tools.
· Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on tech investments, budget forecasting, and IT ROI.
Profile & Qualifications
Education &
Experience
·
Degree: Bachelor’s
degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a
related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management or senior supervisory role, preferably within the distribution, logistics, FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors.
·
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation projects, ERP
migrations, or automated invoicing implementations.
Technical Skills
·
Strong
knowledge of ERP systems and seamless integrations with Warehouse
Management Systems (WMS).
·
Solid
understanding of network administration, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud
computing.
·
Familiarity
with modern digital invoicing systems and warehouse automation tools (e.g.,
barcode/RFID systems, handheld terminals).

and bridge the gap between logistics and IT.
