C-Care Hospitals & Clinics is currently looking for a Housekeeping Attendants to be based at our different hospital locations namely; C-Care Darné, C-Care Wellkin, C-Care Grand Baie & C-Care Tamarin.

 

Housekeeping Attendants

Reporting to the Room Services Manager, the selected candidates are responsible to ensure the cleanliness and the disinfecting of the patients’ rooms, the building and all the flat surfaces areas as well as to assist the nursing staff in their duty in order to ensure that patients are satisfied with the service they receive.

 

What you will be doing?

• Follow up on patients’ requests being fulfilled, organise courtesy calls in rooms to collect patient feedback following their requests.
• Ensure that all public areas and private rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Clean, prepare, and make all discharge and vacant beds.
• Collect and dispose of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Perform deep cleaning of designated areas as required.
• Assist with laundry and linen-related tasks as assigned.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.

 

What are we looking for?

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar housekeeping, cleaning, or attendant role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work under pressure and on a shift system.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• A reliable, proactive, and dedicated team player
