Registered Nurses

Reporting to the Head of Nursing, you will deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care while ensuring patient safety and positive clinical outcomes through effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

What you will be doing

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Coordinate the smooth admission, transfer and discharge of patients
• Monitor patients' condition and promptly report any clinical deterioration
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a high standard of care at all times
• Assist patients with activities of daily living according to their needs
• Administer medications safely, including oral, intramuscular and intravenous therapies
• Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive nursing documentation
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures and clinical protocols
• Comply with infection prevention and control standards
• Ensure the safe segregation and disposal of clinical waste
• Mentor and support junior nursing colleagues
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional ethics

What are we looking for?

• Diploma in Nursing 
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Mauritius
• Minimum of 1–3 years' relevant clinical experience
• Computer literate
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient care skills
• A compassionate, professional and team-oriented approach
