Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that construction projects are delivered safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and site teams to coordinate daily operations, resolve technical challenges, and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Set out, level, and survey construction sites to ensure accurate project execution.
- Interpret and work with site plans, technical drawings, and Building Information Models (BIM).
- Mark structural boundaries on-site using pegs, markers, and other surveying equipment.
- Liaise with designers, engineers, and project teams to ensure plans and drawings are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee quality control throughout all phases of the project.
- Promote and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Maintain accurate site records and keep a detailed site diary.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
- Work effectively both on construction sites and in the office to support project planning, reporting, and coordination.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar site engineering role would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, surveying techniques, and engineering principles.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive approach to health and safety and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with BIM software would be an advantage.
