Job Description
Position: Relationship
Executive
Department: Business Development
Your Mission
The Relationship Executive is accountable for generating profitable new business, developing long-term customer relationships, and delivering consistent sales performance through disciplined execution of the Sales Excellence framework.
Key Responsibilities
•
Deliver
annual New Business, Renewal Retention, and Revenue targets in line with
approved budget and performance objectives.
•
Execute
the Sales Excellence practices to drive consistent pipeline and conversion
performance.
•
Maintain
a healthy, active pipeline with accurate CRM reporting to ensure forecast
reliability and performance transparency.
•
Protect
portfolio quality by balancing retention, cross-sell, and upsell while
maintaining underwriting and pricing discipline.
•
Ensure
full compliance with internal policies, underwritten guidelines, regulatory
requirements, and governance standards.
•
Build
and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer experience,
loyalty, and long-term profitability.
•
Plan
weekly and monthly sales activities aligned with individual targets and Sales
Excellence standards.
•
Generate leads through structured prospecting,
networking, referrals, and market canvassing.
•
Conduct
face-to-face and virtual client meetings with clear preparation, needs
analysis, and value-based selling approach.
•
Prepare
and follow up quotations within agreed turnaround times to maximise hit ratios
•
Proactively
manage renewal portfolio to secure retention while identifying cross-sell and
new business opportunities.
•
Maintain
accurate and up-to-date CRM records for leads, meetings, pipeline stages, and
forecasts.
•
Monitor
personal performance metrics (lead generation, meetings, hit rate, premium
growth, referrals) and take corrective action when required.
•
Escalate
complex underwriting, pricing, or operational issues in a timely manner.
•
Operates
independently within approved pricing, underwriting, and governance frameworks
•
Prioritises
daily and weekly sales activities to achieve individual targets.
•
Recommends
commercial solutions within delegated authority limits.
•
Escalates non-standard pricing, underwriting
exceptions, or risk-related matters for approval.
Job
Requirements
•
Diploma
or Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (or equivalent
experience in insurance sales).
•
Minimum
2–3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
•
Proven
track record in achieving revenue or sales targets.
•
Fluent
in English and French (written and spoken).
•
Results-driven
and disciplined.
•
High
personal accountability.
•
Resilient
and persistent in prospecting.
•
Strong
relationship-building skills.
•
Organised
and structured in execution.
