Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit a Veterinarian.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient and high-quality veterinary services in line with AAALAC and Legal compliance requirements and timelines.
- Provide specialized veterinary care and promote the wellbeing of all animals. Be devoted to supporting animal care and use program and oversight for the health and well-being of all animals housed in the institution.
- Act as the primary veterinary authority for your assigned site, ensuring independent decision-making within established SOPs and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Veterinary Services Manager to align site-level veterinary operations with organizational objectives while maintaining autonomy in day-to-day clinical and operational decisions.
- Provide expert input on site-specific animal health programs, facility adequacy, and staff competency, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
- Deliver comprehensive veterinary care for all animals on site, ensuring strict adherence to sanitary status requirements as outlined in the company's quality manual and SOPs.
- Work closely with Site Management teams to integrate veterinary services into broader operational workflows.
- Communicate effectively with the Veterinary Services Manager, Animal Welfare Compliance Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Support procurement and export processes for animals, ensuring compliance with health and welfare standards.
Profile:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized university.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Compassion for animals.
- Excellent communication abilities
- Capacity to work under pressure.
