Job Description

The IT Cards & Payments Lead is responsible for managing and delivering IT projects and support activities related to ATMs, POS, EFT, and settlement platforms, aligning regulatory requirements and business goals. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and driving initiatives to enhance system uptime and improve customer experience. The role also contributes to projects that support the Group’s digital payments strategy.

Key duties and responsibilities:

       Liaise with vendors and card associations on production related issues.

       Responsible for incidents and service requests attendance as well as change management requests.

       Assist on Project Execution and tracking.

       Manage Cards IT Applications Support Team.

       Ensure stable Cards and Payments environment with maximum up time.

       Verify test cases, configuration and testing results as well as preparing test cases.

       Assist and coach IT Cards & Payments Officer.

 

Qualifications & Experience

       Minimum Degree Holder in IT or any other equivalent qualification. 

       Minimum 2 years of Lead experience in the Cards and Payments Field.

       Prior exposure in managing a team.

       Understanding of SQL, Unix commands and Programming 

       Experience in Payment Switch, ISO8593 Messaging and Web technologies.

       Conversant with VISA and MasterCard Simulators / Certifications 

       Fluent in English, both written and spoken 

       Customer oriented and able to adapt/respond to different types of queries 

       Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
