Job Description

The Sales Representative plays a key role in driving sales and ensuring the smooth execution of projects and sales related to both Trellidor and Eva-Last composite products. This role is both client-facing and operational, requiring a strong balance of business development, technical understanding, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales, Client Engagement, and Project Oversight:

  • Manage the full sales process, from lead generation to project completion, ensuring continuous engagement with customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors
  • Follow up on all leads and prospects, promptly and efficiently
  • Conduct site assessments and provide tailored product recommendations based on client needs.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders including architects, developers, builders, contractors, property managers, and homeowners.
  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
  • Ensure clear communication with clients regarding timelines, expectations, and any changes to project scope or delivery.
  • Track project milestones, manage deadlines, and ensure alignment between sales commitments and project execution.
  • Provide after-sales support and proactively resolve issues or complaints

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and annual budgets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activity to adjust tactics and improve performance
  • Ensure weekly planning for sales outreach, lead nurturing, site visits, and client follow ups
  • Proactively follow up on all leads and inquiries, so as to maintain a strong pipeline of confirmed projects

Product Knowledge and Promotion:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Trellidor and Eva Last products, including technical specifications, installation procedures and key features
  • Train and support external agents and contractors, as well as internal team members on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
  • Actively promote brands through, product demonstration, trade shows, expos, seminars, conferences and industry events, marketing campaigns
  • Serve as brand ambassador, always ensuring professional representation
  • Assist in gathering customer feedback to inform future product improvements or promotional strategies

Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Keep internal systems up to date with inquiries, new leads, client interactions, quotations, and project progress
  • Deliver regular reports to the General Manager detailing sales activity, forecasts, site visit outcomes, customer feedback, and strategic recommendations
  • Monitor sales performance against budgets and KPIs.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities and challenges, and propose solutions to management

General

  • Follow all companies’ policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-years’+ experience technical sales.
  • Strong numerical ability.
  • Driver’s license, and willingness to drive to client sites across Mauritius
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC).

Package & Remuneration

  • The position will pay a market related salary dependent on experience.
