C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.
C-Care is currently looking for a Retail Supervisor to be based at C-Care Corporate Office, in Mauritius.

Reporting to the Head of Retail Pharmacy, the selected
candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of
Retail Pharmacy Operations. The role ensures the delivery of excellent customer
service, effective dispensing practices, stock management, and compliance with
pharmacy standards through the supervision, engagement, and development of the
pharmacy team. The incumbent will monitor key retail performance indicators,
including patient satisfaction, revenue, and profitability, while fostering a
high-performance culture focused on operational excellence and the achievement
of business objectives.
What you will be doing:
• Monitoring pharmacy sales
and revenue on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure targets are met.
• Managing pharmacy profitability
by tracking P&L and improving gross margin.
• Handling customer service
issues, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution.
• Implementing promotions,
product placement, and marketing activities to increase sales.
• Liaising with suppliers
and doctors to ensure product availability and support.
• Reviewing and updating the
product range to improve sales performance.
• Planning and running
seasonal and promotional campaigns to boost revenue.
• Leading and developing the
retail pharmacy team to achieve performance targets.
• Managing staff schedules,
performance, objectives, and KPIs.
• Organising team meetings
and providing coaching and training.
• Maintaining pharmacy
processes and service standards.
• Managing stock planning
and inventory control to reduce losses and ensure availability.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in
Pharmacy or Commerce.
• 5 years’ experience in
leading a retail pharmacy or retail sales store with proven results in sales
growth, customer satisfaction, and team leadership, or 10 years’ experience as
a pharmacy dispenser with strong performance track record.
• Strong knowledge of
pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
• Basic understanding of
business finance, including P&L, turnover, and profit management.
• Ability to define,
monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Strong sales techniques
and customer engagement skills.
• Proven ability to lead,
coach, and develop teams.
• Computer literate with
experience in pharmacy or business systems (e.g. HIS, Word, Excel).
• Positive mindset with
strong communication, teamwork, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
