Job Description
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and hands-on Operations & Housekeeping Officer to support our warehouse operations and ensure high standards of housekeeping, safety, and workplace organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee
housekeeping activities across the Buffer Zone, Loading Bays, and Yard.
- Supervise and
coordinate the work of housekeeping helpers assigned to the area.
- Ensure pallets
are staged, stored, and organized according to designated routes and
operational requirements.
- Maintain high
standards of housekeeping, safety, and 5S compliance throughout
operational areas.
- Conduct regular
inspections and follow up on corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with
warehouse teams to ensure housekeeping standards are consistently
maintained.
- Support
warehouse management in maintaining workplace discipline, organization,
and operational efficiency.
- Identify,
report, and escalate housekeeping or operational issues when necessary.
- Provide
coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to newly recruited Checkers.
- Continue to
perform Checker duties as required by operational needs.
Requirements
- Previous
experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar environment.
- Good knowledge
of housekeeping, safety, and 5S principles.
- Strong
organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to
supervise and motivate team members.
- Good
communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work
independently and take ownership of assigned areas.
- Experience as a
Checker or in a similar operational role will be an advantage.
