Role Summary

Our company is seeking a proactive and passionate Sustainability Officer to support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving environmental and sustainability programs, monitoring performance, promoting resource efficiency, and supporting the company's sustainability objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor sustainability initiatives and projects across the organization.
• Support the achievement of the company's sustainability goals and objectives.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance indicators, including energy, water, waste, and emissions.
• Identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
• Coordinate waste reduction, recycling, and environmental improvement programs.
• Support the development of sustainability policies, procedures, and awareness campaigns.
• Collect, analyze, and report sustainability data for management review and reporting purposes.
• Assist with sustainability audits, assessments, and compliance activities.
• Promote employee awareness and engagement in sustainability initiatives.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on sustainability-related matters.
• Stay informed of developments in sustainability, environmental legislation, and industry best practices.
• Support ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and corporate sustainability reporting initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of environmental and sustainability principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in sustainability, environmental management, manufacturing, or a related field will be an advantage.
