Mauritius Cargo Community Services Ltd

Mauritius Cargo Community Services Ltd (MACCS Ltd) was incorporated in 2008 to implement a Cargo Community System (CCS) in Mauritius. The CCS project, which is now well under way, consists of a state-of-the-art IT platform which shall link all stakeholders of the logistic chain in Mauritius with a view to expediting the movement of international cargo while securing it against terrorist threats and fraud.

The Mauritian CCS is aimed at sharpening the competitive edge of our country in a context of increasing world competition. Its effeciency and role as a logistic data banck shall impact the economy of the whole country since faster and more efficient logistics reduce production costs for the whole economy while improving the economic agility of the Nation.
