Workshop Assistant - (1804-WASST)

Our Client is seeking to recruit a Workshop Assistant for its operations.

Responsibilities:

• Daily maintenance of all turf equipment.
• Working alongside the Workshop Manager in planning set up of machines and daily work operations.
• Problem solving and reporting to Workshop Manager.
• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment.
• Daily issuing of fuels for all equipment and record keeping.
• Daily spot checks of equipment on site and makes any necessary adjustments
• Oversees workshop area and maintains a well-presented workshop
• Assists in any operation on the golf course when needed.
• Set up of all cutting units to correct height and quality of cut
• Monitors usage of course machinery consumables.

Profile:

• Knowledge of maintenance of greens, fairways and roughs.
• Knowledge of use of golf operating standards equipment and tools
• Knowledge of golf machineries & equipment’s repairs and maintenance as per standards
• Knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules and methods of play.
