Warehouse Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

•Manage the warehouse operations, orientate, assign, schedule and coach store employees

•Communicate job expectations, plan and monitor performance, and ensure adherence to policies /procedures

•Provide timely warehouse information to build strategic plans., and identify system improvements to meet international operational standards

•Provide annual budget information, monitor expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions

•Ensure floor space optimization and adherence to storage design

•Manage inventory by coordinating daily cycle counts, monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data

•Implement and monitor H&S procedures, and ensure store security

•Maintain warehouse equipment: enforce functioning instructions, plan preventive maintenance and repairs

•Handle stock management, stock accuracy and FIFO

•Ensure transactions and stocks are registered properly on oracle, using accurate documentation

•Ensure proper recommendation on disposal of overlying/surplus/slow moving

•Ensure that products are verified at reception and controlled on delivery

Education/Experience

•Diploma/Certificate in Logistics

•Knowledge in OSHAH, Food act, and ISO is a plus

•IT and Communication skills, as well as strong analytical and reporting skills are essential

•Ability to deal with complexity and to adapt to the changing needs of the business

•Organized and deadline-oriented, and able to work odd hours
