VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS DESIGNER

RT Knits is a leading textile company and a pioneer in the textile manufacturing sector in Mauritius, with 50 years of enriched experience, innovative technologies and practices.

We are currently looking for a Visual Communications Designer and the main duties will be as follows:

Main Duties & Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive) 

▪ Create a range of digital-first deliverables including but not limited to: web graphics, campaigns, digital advertisements, virtual event graphics, video storyboards, video editing, and short animations.

▪ Create visually engaging, innovative and functional and Web products.

▪ Create artwork for events, campaign using colour, typesetting, images, illustration, or photography.

▪ Develop multimedia visuals for web programs, including colours, sound, text, and animation.

▪ Create video clips for use on websites or software programs.

▪ Work with digital images, including photographs or graphics you've created, and use software to tweak the images.

▪ Partner closely with internal stakeholders to make creative recommendations that are visually captivating and also drive business outcomes.

Desired Education & Experience

▪ Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design or any relevant field;

▪ A minimum of 2 years of similar previous work experience.

▪ The ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.

▪ Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time.

▪ Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.

▪ Proven ability delivering high quality designs

▪ Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
