Quickpro Translations Limited is currently seeking 2 professional translators in the following language combinations for current and upcoming contracts:

1 x French to English Translator
1 x English to French Translator

Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be tasked with daily French to English or English to French translations. Your primary tasks will be the translation, editing and proofreading of documents as well as the setting up of glossaries and terminology memories.

• must possess exceptional English or French writing skills (English or French Native) and a very good understanding of written French or English
• must be a native speaker in the target language with translation experience
• ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and to work under pressure
• excellent knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
• willingness to learn and master computer-assisted translation and terminology tools
• must display initiative and imagination, coupled with great intellectual curiosity and high motivation
• must be a team player with ability to work in a team environment
• the ability to see and pay attention to detail
• ability to do quick, accurate and effective research on the web

Additional info:
Full time position with working hours:
Monday to Friday 08h30 – 16h30

You could be:
a) An experienced (French and or English Native) translator or copywriter with a proven track record.
b) A university graduate, with a degree or diploma and no experience, but with excellent writing skills in English or French and an excellent understanding of French or English. (Written)
c) A high school graduate with no experience but with excellent writing skills in English or French and an excellent understanding of French or English. (Written)
