A well established catering business is looking for a Trainee Accounts Clerk. High possibility of being employed on a permanent basis after traineeship programme.

 

Main Duties:

Reporting to the Financial Controller through the Accounts Officer, the job incumbent shall primarily be responsible to:

  • provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accountign department
  • prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • prepare bank deposits, general ledger and statements
  • reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • perform internal control checks
  • adhere to Company's standards, procedures, policies and applicable laws

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree holder in Accounting or Finance or any related field
  • Or posses an ACCA Level 2
  • Minimum of 3 - 6 months of experience in the Finance department

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Fast learner
  • Competency in MS Office
