Technical Architect

Our client, in the BPO and IT sector, and a service provider, is looking for a Technical Architect.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to develop and detail the future IT platform, and to drive its realization.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting the corporate strategy by developing and detailing the IT platform of the future, balancing business value with acceptable risk.
• Evangelizing the vision of the IT platform of the future.
• Driving the realization of this IT platform.
• Identifying all stakeholders within the international context of the Company.
• Communicating clearly with all stakeholders.
• Conceptual, analytical and critical.
• Able to work in an international context with collaboration across location.
• Help project or process team members in evaluating diverse options and make recommendations.
• Provide technical advice and guidance across the analysis, development, support or testing teams.
• Participant in recruitment of experienced hires for the center.
• Determine resource status and training needs.
• Create Knowledge assets and document business Knowhow and Best Practices.
• Estimate and/or scope new work opportunities/projects.
• Ability to identify internal or external technical dependencies to the project or work-stream and managing those.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervision of other personnel may be required in this position and these include:

• Coach and mentor team members from a technical perspective. 
• Provide work direction and guidance to team members across organisation.
• Ensure accuracy of the work of team members via coaching and reviewing, their ability to operate under deadlines and to work on multiple tasks.
• Provide effective team collaboration to rapidly progress projects.

Qualification:

• Masters or Bachelor Degree Holder in IT/IT related fields
• At least 5 years as an enterprise architect

• Experience and a good understanding of the Microsoft Platform Stack;
• Good Knowledge of Cloud;
• In-depth understanding of and experience with diverse technology;
• Stay up-to-date on relevant trends, technologies;
• Proven expertise in architectural activities and Methodologies;
• Formal Enterprise Architecture Training;
• Proven knowledge of process methodology;

• Comfortable with software development concepts and lifecycles;
