Job Title: Systems Administrator - Environments
Mandatory:
- Degree in IT
- Windows Server Certifications
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in Windows Server, Web Server, SQL Server administration and Citrix Administration
- Knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure- 2012, 2016 & 2019
- Basic knowledge of Windows SQL Server Administration- 2012, 2016
- Knowledge of IIS – 8.5 and onwards
- Knowledge of Powershell Scripting
- Knowledge of FTP protocols, encryption
Desirable:
- Multinational exposure & experience
- Common IT Knowledge: SQL, XML etc.
- Basic knowledge of TFS/Azure
- Basic knowledge of SQL replication
- Knowledge of internal applications and payroll setup - UK [Internal Advertisement only]
Key Accountabilities:
- New environment builds and environment refreshes for customers
- Involvement in CAB reviews with ability to take decisions
- Prioritisation of customer requests for environment builds
- QA/DEV environment builds and decommissioning
- Capacity Management – Disk usage and decommissioning of unused environments
- To provide 1st/2nd level technical support to users and customers
- Incident Management - To manage and resolve customer or user requests according to internal processes and standards
- To participate in major incidents to assist in restoring service to local/ remote users as quickly as possible according to service level agreements
- To implement change requests according to internal processes and standards
- To communicate and escalate, if needed, to team leads on issues identified which may impact on delivery schedules
- To liaise with service providers and 3rd party suppliers for any issues which may require their intervention
- To be compliant with internal security policies and processes
- To involve in product upgrades/ releases
