We are looking for a Storekeeper for one of our clients.

 

Job description:

  • Ordering of goods:
    • Preparation of purchase orders for stock items
    • Follow up on orders made
    • Preparation of store for expected orders 
  • Receipt of goods and delivery to sites:
    • Preparation of GRN and recording of goods received on Quickbooks
    • Delivery of goods to site as per correct FIFO method
    • Ensure proper documentation is filled in at all stages of receipts and deliveries
  • Stock follow up of stock
    • Ensure that minimum stock levels are followed up
    • Follow up slow moving items
    • Maintain store in a clean and orderly manner
  • Reporting
    • Ensure materials reports are sent to accounts department upon completion of all jobs
    • Report all damaged goods to account department on monthly basis 
  • General duties
    • Assist HOF in organization of stock take
    • Attend to queries from HOF and GM on a timely manner
    • Ensure proper follow up of site equipment
    • Any other duties as requested by the HOF or the GM

 

Profile:

  • Previous experience as storekeeper required (1 to 3 years)
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks is a must
  • Having a valid driving license
  • Minimum SC Holder
  • IT and Quickbooks literate
  • Hardworker
