Our client is seeking to recruit a Storekeeper for its operations.
Responsibilities:
. To ensure that all issues from the stores are well documented as per company policy.
. To ensure that all stores are kept in order and clean at all times.
. To check on daily basis the minimum stock levels and prepares the proper purchase request for the related Department Heads to purchase on time to avoid the shortages.
. To ensure that all the items kept in the stores are ready and in a good shape to consume, none of them has an expired date of usage or spoiled.
. To inform the Cost Controller on time regarding the spoiled or expired store items.
. To ensure that all store items are carrying updated bin cards or meat tags at all times.
. To participate with the accounting team to do the physical inventories of the stores every end of the month.
. To work very closely with other Supervisor or Department Heads related to his/ her job such as Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Purchasing Manager.
. Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the companyl by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
. Makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the company.
. Performs any additional duties as directed by supervisors.
. Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
. Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform and body language.
. Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
. Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.
. Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of local Law.
Profile:
. Secondary school plus technical certificate or above
. 2 to 3 years related experience
. Good local and sound English language skills
. Positive outgoing personality
. Well organised
. Proven track record of similar standard in similar capacity
