SIL is currently looking for a Solution Architect for its Java team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the area of ICT;
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software development or maintenance in using JAVA/J2EE, Spring (MVC, Data, Integration, Security), Struts, EJB, Hibernate, JPA, Webservices (Apache CXF), XML, JSON;
- Experience on JSF, Javascript, CSS, Angular JS or React JS;
- Knowledge on Application Server (Oracle Glassfish, Tomcat) and UNIX & Linux Operating System;
- Experience in using Eclipse;
- A creative mindset to think outside the box and find alternative ways to develop application systems;
- Expertise with the entire Software Development Life Cycle, with strong emphasis on agile development;
- Conversant with Quality Procedures under CMM/ISO;

- Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to learn job requirements and perform effectively in short time;
- Ability to work under pressure and during odd hours to meet tight deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision and within a collaborative team;
- Customer Service oriented and ability to negotiate with customers tactfully.
