The Manager is responsible for directly managing the tactical day-to-day activities to achieve the delivery of service excellence for a group of development, testing or support teams, typically overseeing 4-8 team leaders.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Knowledge management strategies
Risk mitigation strategies
Identify training needs (entire team)
Manage relationship with the onshore Managers
Transition planning and execution
Program management
Execute process improvement ideas
Ensure process consistency through individual established metrics
Account development (additional business from existing customers)
Operational improvements
Coaching and mentoring of Team Leaders
KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree holder in IT/IT related fields
At least 6-7 years’ experience in software development, testing or support environment • At least 5 years’ experience in project/program management
