1.    Job Description

Designing, coding, coordinating and collaborating, that is what this job is all about. One of your main goals is to collaborate with the different stakeholders, like product managers and specialists. Together you will make our Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud better and more user-friendly. You are responsible for coordinating the delivery our new front-end for our internal Salesforce.com application based on the requirements of our business and the composed user stories. In the architecture of SD Worx Enterprise tooling, Salesforce plays a crucial role. And this is why your role as our new front-end developer and Developer is so important to us.

Lightning Web Components uses core Web Components standards and provides only what’s necessary to perform well in browsers supported by Salesforce. Because it’s built on code that runs natively in browsers, Lightning Web Components is lightweight and delivers exceptional performance. Most of the code you write is standard JavaScript and HTML.

 

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in Front-end dev that wants to use that experience to help build a new customer portal. We have a team of Salesforce.com experts that will help you gain some Salesforce.com knowledge and help embed the newly developed portal into our Salesforce.com environment.

 

2.    Key Accountabilities

  • Managing the requested requirements related to the Salesforce.com portals.
  • Comprehending the functional requirements from your stakeholders and translating them to technical solutions.
  • Making sure users understand and are satisfied with your configurations in Salesforce.
  • Enabling the business in achieving their KPIs by giving insights into for example lead response time, win:loss ratio, rate of follow-up contact.
  • Using an Agile methodology to keep track of your projects.
  • Coding using Lightning Web Components.
  • Keeping informed about the front-end developments in the Salesforce technology stack, including all innovations that are included in future releases.
  • Ensuring that there are as little bugs as possible in our portals.
  • Coordinating regularly with stakeholders, like our Support Team, the Product Owners and the business owners
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and writing). Dutch is considered an asset.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of work experience with front-end development, preferably customer portals, if possible, willing to show us your portfolio.
  • training and experience in UI/UX design and possibly service design 
  • Being able to put yourself in the place of the user and having the user as your main focus. 
  • Strong visualization skills 
  • Working experience in UI/UX tools such as InVision, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, … 
  • Technnical Skills: Lightning Web Components, HTML/JS

3.    Expectations Experience & Knowledge

 

  • Ability to use the latest Salesforce technologies, like Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components.
  • Know-how about basic GIT flows. For using Gitlab and source code management using Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
  • Understanding how to use an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) or code editor with Salesforce plugins for the development of Salesforce, like Salesforce SFDX.
  • Self-starter, you will need to lead the efforts in creating our new portal, there will be a lot of help on all sides, but we do need someone that takes initiative and ownership.
