Sales Representative: Mauritius

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Representative at GUD Mauritius.  The services of a motivated, outgoing and sales driven person are required. Reporting to the General Manager of GUD Mauritius, the successful incumbent will be responsible for identifying customers and driving sales growth across our brands.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Sales and Sales growth
      • Finding new customers and expanding sales with existing customers
      • Growing the brand’s presence in the market
  • Maintain a call plan cycle to visit distributors to ensure that:
      • A good working relationship is maintained between GUD and the retailers, distributors and workshops
      • Offer and maintain a high level of service to both brand customers
      • Achieve a mutually acceptable sales growth
      • Promotional programmes are implemented
  • Attend GUD sponsored functions as a member of the GUD marketing team to foster and maintain the GUD presence in the market.
  • Continuous market information gathering to maintain database of retailers, fleets & workshops within designated areas
  • Submit Sales and Marketing reports to the General Manager on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • This position requires a person with a reasonable knowledge of vehicle maintenance, who is prepared to travel and who exhibits excellent customer skills across a full spectrum of customers. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s License
  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Sales Management
  • Applicable skills and knowledge including computer literacy
  • Previous experience in a Sales and Marketing role 

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience in the motor parts business and/or previous filtration knowledge
