Qualifications: - MBBS - Registration Medical Council
To diagnose physical and/or mental illnesses, disorders and injuries, and prescribe medications and treatment to promote or restore good health.
To be involved in a wide range of activities, attending emergencies, attending ambulance calls and critical care postings.
To take part in all hospital activities which includes educational training courses/ sessions and camps organized by FCD.
Duties Emergency
To promptly attend and examine all patients arriving at the Emergency to determine the nature of the disorder or illness, and record the patient's medical information as soon as you are informed (either through pager or telephone) by the nursing staff without any delay.
To inform the patients about the treatment requested and to reassure them.
If a specialist/general physician is requested, the Resident Medical Officer should liaise with and refers patients to other medical specialists and exchange relevant medical details. This may be done through the switch board operator with:-
(a) the specialist/general physician of the choice of the patient for further treatment or
(b) the specialist on the on call roster.
(c) Any appropriate specialist on the list of approved doctors working at Fortis Clinique Darné
If requested or On roster specialist/general physician is not available or second advice is requested:-
To arrange for patients to be admitted if necessary on the ward and to inform personally the Doctor on the list of 2nd on call for proper handing over.
Among other task as per job description.
