The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of quality standards in all aspects of the operations. He maintains a constant presence on the floor, communicates with guests to obtain their feedback and is quick to detect flaws in guest service.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

  • Receives daily instructions from the General Manager/Resident Manager on areas in the operations, which requires particular attention
  • Participates in all departmental operational meeting and briefings.
  • Analysis and Compilation of Customer Satisfaction Index
  • Performs public relations with all guests with particular attention to VIGs (Very Important Guests), CIGs (Commercially Important Guests) and high profile guests (Senior Suites, Villas, Presidential Villas, etc).
  • Regularly attends Management Cocktails in order to meet guests.
  • Oversees guests service operations planning and delivery in all areas with particular focus on the Bell Desk, Front Office & Guest Relations, Restaurant & Bar Service, Beach Service and Housekeeping in order to ensure flawless delivery at all times.
  • Pays particular attention to the maintenance of premises, cleanliness and neatness of all guest service areas and reports any problems to the HODs/HOSs concerned for necessary action.
  • Participates actively in the Hotel Project Committees in order to contribute ideas for the Continuous Improvement of Guest Service delivery.
  • Lead and Implement internal & external auditing practices.
  • Regularly reports on the state of the resorts guests service operations to the GM/RM, anticipating and highlighting potential problem areas (shortage of staff, equipment breakdown, lack of equipment etc) and contributes ideas for possible solutions.
  • Regularly provides training to the staff of the resort in his areas of competence.

 

JOB REQUIRMENTS

  • Be a passionate, talented and creative, possess a dynamic personality and be highly motivated
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Quality Coordinator
  • Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
  • Ability in multi tasking and time management
  • Excellent leadership, inter-personal and communications skills
  • Aptitude in Resolving issues with a Customer Focused Orientation
  • Communicate effectively in English & French. 
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Positive Attitude
