Our Client is seeking to recruit a Project Procurement Coordinator for its operations. The candidate should be able to assist the Procurement Executive in managing procurement of goods and services.
Responsibilities:
Tender preparation and Analysis:
. Ensure the specifications are correctly filed
. Product creation on Pastel System
. Raise Purchase Requisition for Tender Preparation
. Prepare tender/price request letters for projects
. Work according to procurement plan drawn by Senior Management
. Insert in tender/price request analysis the various quotes obtained from suppliers
Purchasing Action:
. Place orders to selected supplier after having the proper authorisation from senior management and end customer
. Systematic follow up of orders. Keeping the tracking sheet up to date
. Keep the Logistics company informed of status of orders
Filing Procedures:
. File all documents as per the company policy listed in the correspondence Manuel
. Match invoice versus Purchase Order and Delivery
Delivery/Installation:
. Follow up installation schedule with installation team and suppliers
. Report any deficiencies, damages or concerns such as variances from purchase order or ID specifications
. Prepare installation file to be submitted to installation team
. Prepare handing over file for client
Profile:
. College Diploma in related field
. Knowledge of Supply Chain management or Project Management is an advantage
. Able to work in fast pace, challenging environment
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
. Knowledge of Quality standards
. Knowledge of contractual communication both written and oral in Procurement contracts
. Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, Project Management
. Demonstrate leadership skills and initiatives
. Excellent interpersonal skills
