Project Coordinator - (1749-PC)

Our client is seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator for its operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate projects between HODs, funding institutions, potential partners, consultants and contractors
Prepare and present project presentations
Organise the logistics need of the projects and ensure that the necessary resources in project's preparation are available at all times
Give regular update to clients
Monitor project progress and handle issues as they come up
Ensure that project deadlines are met
Look for different sources of funds to help kick-starts projects whenever applicable
Stay on the lookout for incentives from the Government and / or financial institutions
Prepare business plans in close collaboration with the Financial & Admin Manager
Elaborate comprehensive project documentation and related reports with regards to the project at hand
Ensure that contracts are handed to contractors / consultants
Stay abreast with company policies, objectives and values to ensure that project processes adhere to set standards and especially to the standard code of ethics
Motivate others and keep team members focused on the project's main objectives
Follow the projects' work progress and organise regular meetings with different stakeholders to keep track of the projects' progress
Ensure that every team member is in line with the objectives and expected outcomes and obtain team members prompt collaboration to ensure that the time lines of the projects are respected
Manage conflicts promptly, if need be.

Profile

Diploma or degree in Project Management / Finance and Accounting / Business Administration
Working experience in a similar position would be an added advantage
Excellent planning & organizational skills
Methodical & Financial Acumen
Communication Skills
Strong client facing and teamwork skills
Familiar with risk management and quality assurance control
