We are looking for a Production Manager for one of our clients.

Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage the manufacturing operations of our client’s branch in Mauritius. The successful candidate would need to be well organized, be able to work without supervision and to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Industrial engineering qualification.

Experience

• 3-5 years experience as a Production Manager
• Experience managing multiple production lines.
• Experience managing labour intensive production.
• Technical experience essential

• assessing project and resource requirements
• estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
• ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
• determining quality control standards
• overseeing production processes
• re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
• organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• supervising the work of junior staff
• organising relevant training sessions
