Tropic Knits Ltd, member of CIEL Textile, is currently looking for Product Leaders to work in the Product Development Department. The position is a technical role within the Product Development and Marketing department which demands high technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Good interpretation customer’s requests (technical packs)
- Carry out feasibility for each request received
- Proactively participate in the garment manufacturing process
- Re-engineering styles where appropriate
- Creation of internal technical packs
- Develop relationship with our customers through a good communication
- Assess the quality of samples and ensure they meet customer’s specifications
- To go on ad hoc mission overseas, as and when required.
Competencies:
- Understand fabric properties and performance
- Good knowledge of garment manufacturing process
- Ability to assess garment quality and fitting
- Good communication skills
- At ease with Microsoft tools
Job Profile:
- Degree in Textile and Fashion Design or Textile Technology or Fashion Technology
- Experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and will be advantage.
