We are looking for a dynamic candidate to provide general administrative support and assist the Procurement department in the purchasing of goods and services in a timely manner
Candidate Profile
- Min. HSC or equivalent
- At least 3 years of proven experience in the related field
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Duties and Responsibilities
- To process Local Purchase Requests and ensure same are reliable for analysis
- To ensure that ordered goods and services meet specified needs
- To evaluate impartially within set criteria before supplier selection and award
- To negotiate Value for Money terms and conditions with Suppliers
- To develop working relationships with Suppliers to assure security of supply and improve business terms
- To assist the Procurement Manager in identifying and implementing costs saving initiatives
- To process Import Orders in a timely manner and ensure adequate and accuracy of request from operation before processing
- To liaise with foreign suppliers for pro-forma invoices, order acknowledgements, order confirmations, commercial invoices and payment confirmations
- To follow up Import Order and custom clearance
- To submit regular Local and Import transactions reports to the Procurement Executive
- To assist the Procurement Executive in the good running of the stores
