Pre Delivery Inspection OFFICER

To follow receipt, storage and delivery of new vehicles (cars and Motorcycles) and power products and equipment; to arrange for transportation from port to storage till delivery to Sales Representative and to plan job of Pre Delivery Inspection employees.

• Assess and organize  logistics in terms of transport requirements, for  receipt, handling, storage and distribution of cars, motorcycles and power products and equipment;
• Plan and manage the delivery schedule on a timely basis;
• Plan and manage the schedule of work for PDI mechanics and attendants;
• Inspect all units scheduled for delivery;
• Ensure quality check are carried out according to procedures;
• Ensure general cleaning of vehicles and power products;
• Liaise with warehouse to re stock showroom as and when required;
• Monitor and control incoming and outgoing vehicles in showroom;
• Ensure the test drive are done according the Company policies;
• Verify the PDI checklist;
• Send any discrepancy report concerning the issues on the vehicles for insurance claims;
• Prepare stock inventory of all the vehicles/power products/spare parts;
• Place orders and follow up with spare parts department;
• Attend mechanical training as per workshop norms;
• Undertake any other duties as required.
• Prepare PDI reports on a monthly basis;
• Weekly sales report.

Candidate's Profile:

• Minimum HSC.
• NTC 2 in Mechanical works or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in the same position
