Responsible for the overnight operations of the Hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues as well as assisting with all aspects of guests’ services.
- Undertake overnight responsibility for Reception, checking guests in and out, taking reservations and dealing with all telephone queries.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of customer management at all times.
- Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Manage nightly hotel operations.
- Run end of day process/Night audit process on the system.
- Compile and run statistical reports for all departments and transfer information to the Accounts department.
- Post room charges and taxes to guests’ accounts.
- Process guest charges voucher and credit card vouchers.
- Post guest charge purchase transactions not posted by front office assistants.
- Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
- Verify all account postings and balances made during the day by front office assistants.
