Mini Bar Supervisor (Food & Beverage /Housekeeping)

LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Food & Beverage Supervisor for LUX* Grand Gaube.

The successful candidate will be responsible to:                                    

1) Coordinate and supervise the daily Food & Beverage operations.                                                                                                      

 2)  Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager  in conducting frequent spot checks in order to ascertain that work practices comply with the standard operating procedures of the Food & Beverage department.          

QUALIFICATIONS

1) At least School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.

2) National Certificate Level 4 in Restaurant and Bar Operations or equivalent qualifications.

3) Tertiary education at Advanced Certificate or Diploma level majoring in Hospitality Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.

EXPERIENCES:

1) A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the hospitality industry.                                                

 2) A minimum of 2 years of working experience as Chef de Rang or in a smilar position in a 4 or 5 Star Resort.

8)Excellent written and communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage. 

9)Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package. 

10) Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.

11) Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.

12) A clean certificate of character is a must.
