Our client, a service provider in the construction sector, is looking for a Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure good running conditions of all vehicles and equipment for high efficiency, better quality and low cost.

Main responsibilities:

• To ensure that the fleet of vehicles attached to the department are running.
• To attend zero breakdown and to reduce the cost of maintenance consistent with the company’s objectives.
• Mechanical -- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Safety and Security -- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, data and property.

Repairs and Maintenance

• Inspect machines regularly to detect any anomaly early and report to take appropriate action.
• Relate all anomalies of vehicles to the workshop Manager.
• Ensure follow-up and servicing of vehicles.
• Verify all customers vehicles and report before and after repairs or servicing in or outside garage.
• Verify all old spare parts return by inside or outside garage.
• Return all unused parts to the workshop supervisor.

Safety and Housekeeping Measures

• To keep a constant control of the tools and equipment used by you.
• To follow good safety practice, safety procedures and policies.
• To make proper and safe use of tools and equipment
• To ensure good housekeeping in your working area. To clean working place regularly and removed grease and oil lubricants to avoid accident.
• To avoid all reworks.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment used are clean up after.
• Maintain good hygiene level of work environment for good work conditions.

Qualification:

• BENG – Mechatronics.
• At least 2 years of experience in the same field will be an advantage.

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Time management skills
• Well versed in IT, including MS Office applications (Word / Excel), internal IT system.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills: Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Deductive Reasoning:  The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
• Inductive Reasoning:  The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (e.g. finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
