Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, part of a local group in the chemical and distribution sector, is looking for a Marketing Executive.

 

Our client, part of a local group in the chemical and distribution sector, is looking for a Marketing Executive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering information on customers’ profile, products, competition and suppliers and to initiate sound marketing decisions and take value added initiatives for sales optimisation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the Division activities and products are timely and effectively communicated to the different stake holders using the appropriate communication tools.
  • Explores together with team the potentially lucrative avenues for commercial development and business expansion.
  • Builds towards maintaining a long-term relationship with suppliers through regular communication.
  • Keeps track of new products entering the market by maintaining constant and continuous contact with suppliers.
  • Performs Administrative Duties of the division by:

a)    Planning and supervising Merchandising and Hostess activities;

b)    Organising In store events;

c)     Carrying out product entry;

d)    Making follow up of Advertising and Promotional Campaign;

e)    Making follow up with foreign orders;

f)      Managing Material Requirement Planning;

g)    Placing orders;

h)    Making follow up with suppliers;

i)      Ensuring Marketing Support;

j)      Providing updated information to Sales Team on product Portfolio.

  • Liaises with the showroom team on a day to day basis to have updated information of products stock and products sold.
  • Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities of all staff are defined and understood.
  •  Participates actively in the training and development of staff and succession planning.
  • Ensures that appropriate customer relations management systems are in place for effective communication flow with customers.
  • Complies with Safety, Health, Environment   and Quality procedures.
  • Reports incidents, non-conformance, complaints, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
  • Shows initiative and pro-activeness in improving Safety, Health, Environment and Quality practices.

Qualification:

  • Higher School Certificate.
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar working position.

Candidate profile:

  • Sound communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good written and spoken English and French
  • Sound knowledge of relevant products
  • Knowledge on Competitors’ products and services
  • Ability to suggest new ideas to keep competitive advantage
