Our client, in the engineering sector, is looking for a Manager (to be based in Seychelles).
Our client, in the engineering sector, is looking for a Manager (to be based in Seychelles).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth and day-to-day management of the company and its resources – human capital, finance, materials and equipment.
Main responsibilities:
- Meet prospective clients and devise strategies to secure new jobs/projects with a view to increase turnover and profitability of the company
- Ensure projects are managed within cost, time, scope and quality parameters
- Lead and manage staff in back-office, design team, and project teams on sites
- Oversee the tendering process and ensure timely submission of tender documents
- Prepare and submit annual budgets & forecasts and conduct variance analyses
- Implement and monitor KPIs for each section to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining quality and customer service
- Responsible for manpower planning, staffing, training, development, performance management, reward, and discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
- Technical qualifications in construction or building services
- At least 10 years of experience in contracting field at senior management level
- Technical knowledge in MEP and allied products in the construction industry
