Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager position is to be responsible of the entire upkeep and maintenance of the organization. He is required to execute administrative and organizational skills for ensuring that all maintenance activities are smoothly completed.

• Efficiently implement all SOP(s) and ascertain their professional execution by ensuring that work performed complies with all applicable codes, safety, sanitation rules and regulations.
• Conduct frequent quality spot-checks, within the Maintenance Department, with regard to procedures, equipment, facilities and systems.
• Conduct walk through to visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical aspects of the company, including guest rooms, public spaces, all mechanical, electrical and any other related equipment.
• Oversee assignments and verify completion of all preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of house spaces and grounds.
• Observe Health and Safety rules and regulations and ensure that all work is done in accordance with manuals.
• Co-ordinate all renovation, expansion and special projects.
• Establish timeframes and work schedules and follow-up to ensure that work is completed in order of urgency or priority.
• Develop, implement and maintain preventive maintenance and energy conservation programs for guest rooms, public areas, back of house, mechanical equipment, building systems according to hotel standards.
