MERCHANDISER

To work in the retail and sales industry alongside clients and sales personnel to ensure that assigned products are displayed in a way to encourage sales.

JOB DUTIES: 

• To visit assigned retail stores within a certain geographic area and are expected to visit each store on a daily basis or other predetermined schedule to carry out the various tasks under their responsibility.
• Build relationships with key store personnel to ensure their understanding of brand information, shelf standards and special promotions on the products.
• Deliver new stock, rotate out the old stock, clean and maintain store product displays and price merchandise as appropriate.
• Implement promotions and merchandising standards as prescribed by immediate superior.
• Execute the packing of SKC fruits and vegetables at their respective point of sale as per agreed terms between SKC and client.
• Report on market activity taking place in their respective area to their immediate superior on a regular basis.
• Perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned by Management.

• Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented with positive attitude & pleasant personality
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Minimum 1 year experience as Merchandiser or any other sales related field
• Holder of valid morality certificate
• Possession of own means of transport would be an advantage.
