The role of the M&E Technician include overseeing the repair and preventive maintenance of electrical mechanical rotary and static equipment through involvement and delegation with subordinates.
Design, install and commission of electrical, mechanical & automation equipment.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Daily meeting with technician to plan and coordinate the activities of the day
- Ensure health and safety measures are being correctly followed on site.
- Inspect materials received from supplier are as per standard and tender requirement.
- Follow –up with general foreman and sub-contractors for progress of works.
- Design, install and commission of electrical circuits and power unit
- Quality control on jobs being performed on site.
- Prepare list and advice on materials to be purchased as per material specifications.
- Make reports on the progress of works and discuss with M&E manager.
- Planning and organisation.
- Cost control.
- Tender preparation.
